Viewing Creditor Details
View an easy-to-read list of all your Stock Items added to the Stock Master File List
From here you can quickly search for specific Store Code and easily Insert New Stock Items or Modify existing items
To help speed up the process, you can also choose from an array of sorting criteria
Sort by Description, Bin Location and/or Store, Stock, Group, or Supplier Code
Inserting/Updating Stock Item
(Main Tab)
When inserting a new Inventory Item, you will be required to enter/select a relevant Store Code, Category Code and Stock Code
If relevant to your business, insert a corresponding Bin Location:
(The Bin Location refers to the smallest addressable unit of space within a warehouse or storeroom)
Add relevant Stock Description(s) - this information, along with Pricing Details, will automatically populate when selected as a Line Item during Document Capturing and/or Transaction Posting process
To speed up the Ordering Process, easily add a corresponding Supplier Stock Code (this is the code as it appears on your suppliers shop), as well as the specific Creditors' Code (the account code of the relevant supplier)
Add specific Accounting and Analysis Defaults for the item to help automate the capture and reporting processes - Enter the relevant Product Analysis, Purchase and VAT Rate Codes
Note: while defaults entered here aim to speed up & automate the accounts receivable/payable process, these details are flexible and can be modified on-the-fly during document capture
Inserting/Updating Stock Item

Use the Pricing Details Tab to set relevant accounting details regarding the Stock Item
Choose your Costing Type (either Cost or Weighted Average) and easily set your 3-tire Markup Percentages
Choose whether you want the Selling Price to be automatically updated with the Markup Percentage - and set whether the Selling Price should be VAT Inclusive or VAT Exclusive
For informational purposes, easily view the Weighted Average Cost and note any Foreign Currency costs attached
Here you can also set the Annual Opening Balance for the specific Stock Item
Inserting/Updating Stock Item

Use the Stock Details tab to capture important details regarding Stock Item Orders
Easily capture details regarding the latest Item Order, such as the Date, Quantity on Order and the Expected Date of Delivery
Date of Last Sale and Date of Last Purchase can easily be captured within this tab
Enter Re-Order Criteria to ensure that you always have the right amount of stock on hand - Set Minimum Stock Quantity required for Automatic Re-Order to kick in, as well as the Maximum Re-Order Cap, Fixed Quantities and Safe Stock Percentage
You also have a place to enter any alternate stock code, such as a barcode number etc.
