Easily set your desired General Ledger Accounting Date using the System Settings dropdown - Or by pressing the F2 key when the main General Ledger Module is running
The Accounting Date will automatically be set, based on your General Ledger Periods and Current Date, although this can quickly and easily be modified, if necessary
Setting an Accounting Date will help speed up and automate your accounting process, feeding financial data into the General Ledger Reports in order to produce accurate statements and financial analysis
Setting applicable accounting dates and financial periods within the General Ledger System Settings will help ease the pressure of managing VAT and filing returns
