Using Quick-Find
When adding a line item to a document, use the Code lookup button to bring up your Stock Item list
(you can also simply type in your desired Product Code and press Tab to auto-select the Stock Item)
At the bottom of the Stock Item list window, you have a number of Sort Tabs
The Quick-Find feature can be used on the Description, Stock Code, Supplier Code and Bin Location tabs
Simply select your desired sort tab and begin typing - the browse window will scroll down to the most relevant result, based on what you have typed
Press Enter or click the “Select” button to select the highlighted stock item
Using Item Search Filter
Another way to pinpoint your exact item (or item category) is by using the Search Filter option, found at the top of your Stock Item list window
Enter a product description (or partial description), or enter the code of your desired store, category, stock item, or product group and click “Apply” to filter your results
Take note: depending on your system/server setup and/or the number of stock items in your list, this feature could take some time - this filter/search feature is slower than the “Quick-Find” option, but allows you to better filter down your results, should the situation require it
