6.2.6.1. Assigning Your New Layout

 
Easily Assign New Layouts using the User Document Configuration feature, located in the Creditors Options Menu
 
Note: this Option is only available when the Main Creditors Module is running - Your User Document Configuration list will differ, depending on the specific Win Acc Module running
 
 

Maintaining and Assigning Creditor Layouts

 
Viewing Assigned Document Outputs
 
The System will automatically generate Document Outputs for a new user, assigning the default layouts to each Output Type
 
Easily import layout configurations from an existing user, using the "Same Configuration as" dropdown and clicking "Apply"
You can also Restore Factory Defaults using this dropdown
 
The System automatically configures layouts for both Single and Bulk outputs, making it easy for you to define unique outputs/layouts for your single and bulk outputs
Editing Layout Details
(User Output Default per Action Type Tab)
 
View all default layout details for the selected layout type - these details are automatically populated, and only need to be modified if necessary for your output process
 
Assign a new Document Layout Output by clicking the "Select / Change Preferred Document Output" button
(see more info below)
 
Choose what should happen when the selected Document is called by the system, choose to either Preview or Print the Document, or select the desired File Type that the Document should be automatically Exported as.
 
Here you can also assign your desired Default Printer - or let Win Accounting ask which printer to use each time
 
Keep the Output File and Output Directory as default, or modify it as necessary
Assigning a New Document Layout
 
Assign a new Document Layout Output for the selected Document Type by clicking the "Select / Change Preferred Document Output" button on the 'User Output Default per Action Type' tab
 
This will bring up the Report Options window, displaying all applicable layouts for the desired document - choose your layout by double clicking, or highlighting and clicking "Select"
 
In this window you can also select the desired "Output To" types (preview, print or export locally) and whether to show Printer Options Before Starting Report
Editing Layout Details
(Email Tab)
 
Win Accounting makes it possible for you to quickly and easily email documents and statements
 
Use the Default Win Acc Email Profile, or click "Select Email Profile" to insert/connect a new email profile
 
Easily insert a personalised Email Subject and Email Body - Using the Win Accounting Software Variables to build the Email Template for the selected Document
 
View a list of all possible Win Accounting Email Variables by Right Clicking on the subject and/or body section
